Biography
Dr Michelle Hudson-Shore is FRAME’s Training & Development Coordinator.
Dr Michelle Hudson-Shore is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Applied Bioethics at the University of Nottingham and works in collaboration with FRAME to deliver its Training Schools in Experimental Design and to assist with developing further training and education initiatives.
Michelle has a PhD from the University of Nottingham and a MBiolSci in Zoology from the University of Sheffield. In addition, she is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
Michelle has always had a strong interest in animal welfare having worked in an RSPCA rehoming centre, various veterinary practices and a dairy farm before attending University. Her passion for developing and improving training related to bioethics, research integrity and good research practice was ignited during her time as the Scientific Programme Manager at FRAME. Her current position at the University of Nottingham enables her to align her expertise and experience in researching alternatives to animal experiments with her commitment to teaching and training provision.
Michelle is very happy that she is able to continue to support FRAME’s education and outreach work as an external collaborator. She is excited to work with the current FRAME team to develop and advise on training opportunities and materials.
