Leave a Legacy

As an independent charity, legacies and donations are particularly important to FRAME. Gifts left in wills are vital in helping us continue our pioneering research and helping to find better alternatives to animals in laboratory research.

What is a legacy?

A legacy is basically a gift in your will that is given to your selected charity.

As FRAME is a registered charity, leaving a legacy to us is completely tax free, ensuring your gift goes towards directly support our work.

A legacy is a great way to keep your memory alive and continue to support causes that are important to you, even when you are no longer around.

How do I leave a legacy in my will?

Leaving a legacy in your will is relatively straight-forward. However, we would always recommend using a legal professional to ensure your will is legal and valid.

When making your will, it is important that you ensure that that the full name of your chosen charity and their charity number is included to ensure your gift goes to the right place.

If you’d like to leave a gift to FRAME, our details are:

Fund for the Replacement of Animals in Medical Experiments (FRAME)
Registered charity number: 1176266

We are grateful for every gift, no matter how small.

As part our Remember a Charity membership, all FRAME supporters can get up to 20% off will writing services from Co-op Legal Services. You will benefit from a telephone or blended will-writing service with a saving of £30 per single will. To find out more or get started, please follow this link.
