Dr Rita Seabra - ATLA Production Editor

Rita joined FRAME in 2008 as a Scientific Officer. Over a two-year period, she collaborated on a variety of projects, leading to the publication of papers on alternative infection models, the use of early life stages as in vivo models and nanoparticle testing. Rita then started working with the ATLA editorial team as an Editorial Assistant, and is now the Production Editor.

Rita studied Biology at the University of Glamorgan (Wales), and moved to Nottingham to pursue a PhD at the University of Nottingham. Before joining FRAME, she spent a few years investigating potential haemostatics from the hookworm, and identifying and cloning larval enzymes from the greenbottle fly as potential wound healing agents.
