We are pleased to announce that the FRAME Training School 2022 will take place online, 25-28 January 2022.

Due to the ongoing uncertainty related to the Covid-19 Pandemic we have decided to once again deliver the Training School virtually.

The programme involves live lectures, group work and the chance to interact with the course Tutors and your fellow participants. To have the most beneficial experience during the course we recommend you have access to a camera and microphone.

The course is accredited by FELASA and you will have the opportunity to take an examination at the end of the course to gain that accreditation. It also qualifies for 10 LASA UK CPD points.

This is the 14th collaborative Training School which is aimed at postgraduate level or above. The programme is structured to lead participants from simple experimental design and statistical ideas, through more complex methods and analysis to effective presentation of findings.

Registration is at a special subsidised price thanks to support from FRAME and VetBioNet.

To avoid online fatigue the course will run over 3.5 days with regular breaks and will be delivered via Zoom.

To ensure that the course remains interactive we have reduced the participant capacity. This means that places are more limited than usual, and we expect them to fill quickly.

Therefore, we recommend you book your place as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

General Registration will be available from 1 December 2021.

Register for the FRAME Training School 2022.

If all the places are filled please sign up to the waitlist as cancellations do sometimes arise.

PLEASE NOTE REGISTRATION CLOSES TUESDAY 18 JANUARY 2022 AT 5pm.

The training schedule will take place according to British time zone [GMT].

Comments from past participants:

“Very worthwhile and feel much better equipped with designing experiments and properly analysing and interpreting data (or at least where to look!)”

“I loved the group exercises and how they were basically not straightforward. They really do reflect the kinds of pitfalls scientists need to think about before rushing head-first into an experiment.”

“Even though I had had training in some aspects previously, the integration of analysis methods and design was very useful.”.
