Corporate Support

We have a vision for a world where non-animal methods are accepted as scientific best practice. Where medical research and regulatory testing are focused on human-centric methods and models, benefitting animals and humans. We know this is a long journey, but change happens one step at a time. We are delighted to be able to work with companies across a range of opportunities so that together we can move a step close to a more humane future.

Our successful corporate relationships are built on mutual understanding and shared values. FRAME has a history of collaborating and building long-lasting partnerships across many sectors including biomedical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, animal welfare, and retail.

If you share our vision and would like to work together to help make it a reality then please get in touch. We are always open to developing new relationships and discussing how we can work with your organisation to create a mutually beneficial partnership. To discuss possible opportunities or find out more please contact Catriona Sinclair at catriona@frame.org.uk or call on 0115 958 4740

Case Study: FRAME & Avon

In the 1970s Avon approached FRAME to work together. The Avon ladies were reporting an increase in questions and concerns from customers about animal testing. This was a key area of work for FRAME as many animal lives were being used unnecessarily across the world in these tests.

The FRAME Lab conducted research and identified numerous non-animal method alternatives to the current tests. Further work succeeded in getting these methods validated and approved by the relevant bodies, such as ECVAM (European Centre for the Validation of Alternative Methods).

Avon, together with L’Oréal, Boots, Gillette, and others, gave generously to support the independent development of these non-animal methods. Many, including Avon, continue to give annual donations in support of our work researching new and innovative non-animal methods.

Where today our focus is on developing more complex human-based models for basic research, we still engage with policy discussion and maintain pressure on the government and regulatory bodies to update current legislation such as REACH and to ensure the 3Rs and available non-animal methods are being utilised appropriately.
