FRAME summer studentships

Undergraduate students from the University of Nottingham have been spending eight weeks in the FRAME Alternative Laboratory (FAL) to carry out a variety of projects and gain important laboratory experience as part of a summer studentship.

Dr Andy Bennett, Director of the FRAME Alternatives laboratory said

Exposure of students to the use of non-animal methods early in their career is an important part of the educational work that FRAME does. These studentships allow young researchers to gain experience of cutting edge practical science whilst learning about the importance of using and developing human cell based models in biomedical research.
