“Total animal replacement in human medicine is a realistic goal but it’s a difficult challenge and it’s going to be a long-term goal.”

That was one of the conclusions of a debate held by FRAME at the Kennel Club, London in April.  A video of the discussions is now available online by clicking here: FRAME Debate.

Professor Barbara Pierscionek, Associate Dean of Research and Enterprise at Kingston University’s Faculty of Science, Engineering and Computing, Dr Bob coleman, Independent Drug Discovery Consultant, Dr Brett Cochrane, Group Head of Science at Dr Hadwen Trust, and Dr Brian Burlinson, VP Safety Assessment and Principal Scientist, Huntingdon Life Sciences.

Proceedings of the meeting will be published in a future issue of ATLA, FRAME’s peer-reviewed journal.
